Creative Director EN/NL (full-time)

As the Creative Director at Dekkers, your main mission is to help brands and us grow through your creativity. You know how to impress our prospects and partners with your innovative ideas and enthusiasm. Clients such as Heineken, Red Bull and Dunkin' Donuts are always on the lookout for outstanding ways to grow their brand visibility and sales at some of the most competitive spots. Will your ideas blow them away?

What you'll do 

As the creative director, you play a central role within the design team. You’re like a champion team coach who comes up with original concepts and gets energy from challenging your team to reach their highest talents. You effortlessly translate briefings and strategies into impressive concepts for brands. You inspire, provide guidance and encourage conceptual thought processes.

Besides having contact with partners, clients and stakeholders from around the globe, your teammates are ready to support you from the office in The Netherlands. Responsibilities include: 

• Advise on professionalization and implementation of creative processes, required software and design projects.
• Stimulate co-creation with our clients and prospects at the table and behind the scenes to increase commercial effectiveness.
• Oversee the process from concept to high-quality product solutions.
• Ensure that designers perform at their best ability. You recognize individual talents and know-how to stimulate this.
• Guide brainstorm sessions. You encourage an out-of-the-box type of thinking and look at matters from different perspectives.
• Translate our clients and prospects' challenges, wishes, and needs to convincing pitches (product solutions).
• Provide guidance and direction, both strategic and tactical, and share feedback with the MT.
• Develop and propose proactive innovations. You will work closely with our R&D department.

Most importantly: make our clients and partners happy.

Who you are

Besides enjoying meeting and interacting with people from around the world and working with brands in diverse sectors, you also have/are:

• Bursting with ideas, energy and curiosity. You are an enthusiastic source of inspiration.
• You have a commercial approach and are on top of the latest trends. 
• Experienced, but you feel comfortable in a flat organization. At least 3-5 years of experience within a similar position.
• You always view the customer as a top priority and are an empathetic and sincere bridge builder.
• You have excellent communications skills and the ability to listen well to clients’ needs as well as your team's input. 
• You thrive in an international environment and are fluent in English (C2) - other languages are a plus.
• You have good knowledge of and experience with 3D programs (3DMax, Adobe packages).
• An existing network within the creative sector is a plus 
• A relevant bachelor or post-graduate degree
• Located in The Netherlands with an international mindset.
