As a (Medior) 3D Designer at Dekkers, your mission is to help brands gain more visibility and capture attention at key locations.  You do this by delivering high-quality, unique and eye-catching designs for promotional products, marketing installations or displays. Clients such as Heineken, Red Bull and Dunkin' Donuts are always looking for distinctive ways to grow at some of the most competitive spots. Can you create product designs that will blow them away?

What you'll do 

As Product Designer, you play an important role within the design team. You translate customer needs into an actual product design in 3D. You see new possibilities through your creativity and are not afraid to ask (critical) questions. You will visualize our products together with your colleagues within the design team. The team leader and also your mentor, Mo, will help you on your way with everything you need to do your job as well as possible.

The result? Just imagine walking around in different parts of the world, with the designs you worked on hanging in a bar, store or other crowded spots! 

Besides creating exceptional designs for clients worldwide, you'll get possibilities to develop yourself professionally and personally. Your daily responsibilities and priorities include: 

• Translating the wants and needs of our clients and prospects into compelling (3D) designs and technical drawings.
• Conceiving and creating various technically unconventional implementations for products.
• Translate designs into technical drawings with explanations of how our production partners can implement them.
• Showing initiative - share your ideas and improvement opportunities with your team.
• Take the initiative: share your ideas and improvement opportunities with team members. 

Most importantly: make our clients and partners happy.

Who you are

Besides enjoying meeting and interacting with people from around the world and working with brands in diverse sectors, you also have/are:

• Medior product designer with at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• MBO+ level in direction of product/industrial design or equivalent.
• A passion for design, always looking to improve and innovate.
• You have experience/affinity with tools such as SolidWorks or other technical drawing software.
• You always see the customer as a priority and strive for quality results.
• You are comfortable speaking and writing in English (you work in an international team).
• Master in 3ds Max (rendering) and Adobe CC (Creative Cloud - Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign).
